is Located in Huntington Station, about 1 hour (40 miles) east of Manhattan (New York City)
Dr. Heidi Hoefer is the vet and she is WONDERFUL!!!
She owns several chinchillas, and so does her assistant Michelle, Who is equally as wonderful!
All of her credentials are listed on the website, and they are very impressive (at least to me!)
She is always very gentle, and loving with the chinnies. We were first referred to her after Ricky broke his leg.
At that time, she didn't have her own practice.
